If you apply a generous layer before bed, it should last until morning! If you wear during the day, wear time depends on if you are eating/drinking. On average, it should last for a few hours.
Will it melt in my car?
The buttery texture will melt in hot temperatures. It is best to store upright if you know it will be in a hot place. Once it cools, it will solidify again. Even if the formula melts a little, it is still completely safe to use!

Very nourishing, lightweight, a must for my dry lips especially during winter months.
Obsessed with this lip treatment- I’m a picker so it’s hard to let my lips heal… this just did it for me. It’s lovely. The cooling metal applicator is phenomenal! Thank you ! I was not thrilled with how long it took to get to me, however it now feels worth the wait.
Love the feel of the product. The package is amazing too - having the metal piece as part of the applicator helps with smoothing the product while providing a nice cooling effect.

I prefer thicker lip balms and this one is great for daytime. I love the metal applicator, the notch in the cap (cap does not fall off in my purse) and the window in the side. Fast shipping. My only qualm is the price. I understand why it’s priced the way it is but I wish it as a little less expensive or held a little more product.

It's the best lip balm I've ever used! Since my lips are chronically dry, I've tried every lip balm and lip mask over the years and nothing works like this one. It doesn't feel sticky and your lips actually feel moisturized even after the lip balm has dried. It legit makes your lips feel healthier instead of most lip balms which feel like it only acts as a barrier. If you have chronically dry lips, I highly recommend this cuz you will never buy another lip balm again.
I prefer the original version mostly but this format is easier to use. I like that you can sanitize the packaging easily.

I have finally won the battle with my dry lips!!! I have tried so many products that work for a while and then my lips go right back to being dry. I can apply the Plush Ritual Recovery - Ceramide Lip Treatment in the morning and still feel it on my lips at the end of the day. It just subtly keeps working, while I don't even have to think about it or re-apply. It's a little powerhouse!! Small and mighty. This will be my lip treatment from here on. I love it and highly recommend it.

Yall.....i love sam so much and i love this brand and i waited for months to splurge on this and was so excited to try it, especially during winter. this HATES my lips. within minutes, it's flaking and peeling my lips off and leaving them even more chapped than they were previously. i've tried multiple times, during every part of my cycle, warm weather/cold/ it doesn't matter. it happens EVERY TIME. it just falls apart on my lips as my skin falls apart with it. but the bottle is so lux. the metal applicator is so soothing. this SUCKS that myself and the formula don't seem to be friends.
Good product, but the applicator tool is kind of messy. I also find the consistency of this to be stickier than the plush ritual. I thought Bare would be too tinted and wouldn’t layer well for night wear, but find myself reaching for that every night instead of this. I recommend Bare plush ritual if you’re looking for a thicker lip mask to wear overnight.
